HI,I installed into my notebook an Intel 5350 WiMAX Link and its (Intel's) device driver, but I can't run it under Win 7.Its window shows constantly WiMAX is not ready.(Changed the Compatibilities - no change)Intel's help tells me:Intel PROSet/Wireless WiMAX Connection Utility did not startWiMAX is not ready This message indicates that WiMAX on your computer is not ready. Reasons may be: No WiMAX device was found. The required WiMAX adapter is not installed in the computer, or the adapter is not working correctly. Check that a proper working adapter is installed. (Turn off the computer before doing this.) The WiMAX adapter has been disabled. The adapter may be disabled via the Windows XP* or Windows Vista* operating system. Check the Device Manager to be sure that the adapter is enabled. The WiMAX driver and/or software are not working correctly. You may need to reboot the computer. Win 7's device manager shows me that the device is installed and is working andd I am able to establish a WLAN-connecton but 'only' an 802.11n connection, no WiMAX.Does anybody knows how I can try this feature?Thanks in advance,Carl

Some intel 5350 cards were made for exact notebook producer like Lenovo (IBM) or HP. If you put this card to your notebook which is not Lenovo or HP it blocks WiMAX part of the card but WiFi works fine. In this case you should use iWiMAXtool program to make simple registry changes which unlock WiMAX part of the card. Download it from here .
